I swear they write the “message from our lawyer” articles just to piss us off.

They would give you a ticket, and it wouldn’t be $4000 with a twelve month suspension... Have you ever even been to the states?
Yeah it almost looks like a novelty gag gift... Way too busy.
I was just saying that not all rwd cars are set up to understeer from the factory... Wasn’t saying that fwd won’t oversteer or that rwd won’t understeer.
I’ll second that.
Except that turbo engines benefit greatly from a low restriction setup. On a regular old v8 truck it’s just obnoxious... I live in Tucson, where everyone drives big, lifted, trucks with super loud exhausts, it doesn’t sound cool or impressive it’s just annoying.
Lift oversteer with fwd is not the same thing as throttle induced oversteer in a rwd car... I can get both drivetrains sideways but how they get to that point and how they behave after are very different.
Throttling into a turn they will too, even more so actually, in fact I’ve only understeered once in my life driving a rwd vehicle, every other time it’s been oppo lock.
I guessing you don’t have much experience with rwd... I’ve driven a few stock suspension rwd cars (including my own) that have a tendency to step out if you come in too hot on a corner, loads of fun.
And the “asshole of the day” award goes to....
Except for the fact that I’ve driven plenty of my friends modern sports cars and they just don’t compare to the driving experience of my 90s era bmws... A lot different than comparing a smart phone to a 90s brick phone.
They usually do this when they’re about due for a new set... You won’t see many people burning up good rubber, although it’s still a bad idea considering the fact that a blow out while burning out can cause pretty severe damage and can even result in the vehicle catching on fire (I wouldn’t risk that with a Ford gt).
Because racing is awesome... Period.
The GT2 is turbo fed and always more powerful... While the GT3 is a naturally aspirated mill for those that don’t want/need nuclear power plant levels of horsepower.
I think classy would be a more appropriate term for the R, not everyone wants a car that screams for attention.
My first was a 92 Toyota Paseo... Can’t say I feel the same way about that car. My little brother often reminisces about his first (dc5 type s), I think you two would get along well, lol.
If a Honda accord is worth more to someone than a 993, said person is probably on drugs. This is coming from someone who has owned an 05 Accord v6 six speed manual.
True... The average consumer wouldn’t get nearly as excited for one, but they sure do offer supercar performance. I saw a 996 gt3 a few weeks ago, pulled into the spot next to it, and preceded to take a million pictures of it, the rest of the people in the parking lot probably thought I was crazy.
Friend of mines Tacoma.... One of the few tastefully done lifted trucks out there, fox speed adaptive long travel and trd rep wheels.
The gt3 and corvette definitely aren’t “pseudo supercars”.
