What makes it manipulative and creepy is that she knew he would read it. In fact, good chance that he was the primary intended recipient of that tweet.

Yet another goof tonight — I posted the same link twice. This is the second link I intended re Murdoch’s imposed publishing agenda: https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-secret-behind-rupert-murdochs-attacks-on-robert-mueller
Sorry, yes. I conflated the NYT ownership with the Wall Street Journal, which, like the New York Post, is owned by Murdoch and is used to push his agendas (https://www.rawstory.com/2017/12/murdochs-wall-street-journal-pulled-editorial-detailing-trumps-mob-ties-report/, https://www.rawstory.com/2017/12/murdochs-wall-s…
The standards of New York Times op-eds have decayed since Murdoch took over the paper. This garbage piece is a collection of right wing GOP talking points. It misleads by design.
Maybe the Rethugs will actually do something about Lil’ Jeffy’s bid for ... something (A show of his bullying power? A swat at mostly blue states? An excuse to hire more lawless Trumpite thugs like the ones in ICE? An excuse to arrest whoever dares to insult him?) I won’t hold my breath. But we shouldn’t forget…
I left a long time ago, and since my family moved to Austin shortly after that, I haven’t visited Odessa for a very long time. I am shocked to hear that Midland and Odessa are joined on I-20! When I was there, that 20 miles between the towns was open, flat, silent road. I recall one time back then when my family…
InCulto’s signature pink and yellow (?) plaid pants should have qualified them for the final even without the great Welcome to Lithuania song. I hope the Balls enjoyed their welcome.
It was Odessa, Permian High School, which I think became MOJO. I recall our team playing the Midland Bulldogs, they were tough!
Born and grew up in Ft Worth, high school in the west Texas desert. Then away, never came back except for visits. I still love it, though. When I hear that warm, quirky Texas accent, it’s like a comforting blanket on a cold day. I love the Northeast, too, in a different way. And some other regions.
I am very sorry for all those hurt by that horrible flooding event. For them and you, the name Harvey will always be a painful trigger, and no wonder. I am a native Texan myself and still very fond of the people there. I hope your friends are recovering well.
This is a good Harvey. We’ve been watching him long enough for his hair, what there is of it, to turn gray and for us to be convinced that he is the most accurate weather forecaster in Southern New England. He never grandstands or exaggerates, just gives the important facts clearly. Though he does seem to pick up…
Here is the 11 pm Tues version of a network Boston-based channel’s forecast by my favorite local weather man, Harvey Leonard. Looks like we’re likely to be in the bulls-eye, depending on the storm’s exact path:
Shows her priorities, and her young fans are not among them.
Maybe even three times.
...one day genetic testing could put an end to genetic disease...
I always read the reviews, especially the negative ones. They did not show a problem. Maybe the seller bought a batch of real knives like the one shown in their product description, got some good reviews, then when sales went up, dumped in the fakes. Or maybe they sold an inventory that was, say, 20 or 30% fakes. …
Odds are it was laboriously hand-embroidered or appliquéd by underpaid workers in bad living conditions. Doesn’t mean it is tasteful or elegant, more like in-your-face expensive and attention-demanding. Fashion for thirsty people and women beholden to tasteless, bragging men. Whoever designed that dress panders…
In a country with a sane, legitimate government acting according to the laws protecting the rights of its people from fraud and theft, this Amazon fraud issue would be the subject of serious investigation by honest government employees, and the results would be used to pass new laws which would be fairly and firmly…
These racist and extremely stupid administrators thought they were the king bullies of their schoolyard and no one, certainly not a student protestor, could possibly stand against them. Now they are in the news and are being seen for what they are. I hope they face consequences for their shameful and illegal acts.
Yes, the sanctions bill was passed, but the Trump regime so far has refused to enforce it: https://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/25/bob-corker-trump-russia-sanctions-delay-244166?lo=ap_b1
