Here is the 11 pm Tues version of a network Boston-based channel’s forecast by my favorite local weather man, Harvey Leonard. Looks like we’re likely to be in the bulls-eye, depending on the storm’s exact path:

Shows her priorities, and her young fans are not among them.
Odds are it was laboriously hand-embroidered or appliquéd by underpaid workers in bad living conditions. Doesn’t mean it is tasteful or elegant, more like in-your-face expensive and attention-demanding. Fashion for thirsty people and women beholden to tasteless, bragging men. Whoever designed that dress panders…
These racist and extremely stupid administrators thought they were the king bullies of their schoolyard and no one, certainly not a student protestor, could possibly stand against them. Now they are in the news and are being seen for what they are. I hope they face consequences for their shameful and illegal acts.
Yes, the sanctions bill was passed, but the Trump regime so far has refused to enforce it: https://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/25/bob-corker-trump-russia-sanctions-delay-244166?lo=ap_b1
Yes. They can be even more blatant about the process in PR because the mainland media don’t cover it as much and the Trump regime talking points are not challenged as often. But it’s basically the same smash-and-grab scheme.
This is about more than just incompetence and not giving a damn about non-rich brown people. This is also about the plundering of Puerto Rico to enrich venture capitalists and other opportunistic predators. The more Puerto Ricans die, leave, or drown in debt, the more opportunities open for grabbing property and…
To me he is not attractive at all. His lips look like they are made of jello that wasn’t molded right or completely set. They seem to be a different mushy shape in every scene. His torso, assuming it wasn’t cgi’d, is oddly proportioned and not in a good way. He’s just off. That’s okay or even good for playing a…
As someone else wrote when this signing was only predicted, not yet a done deal: let’s have many, many James Harrison sacks of Ben Rothlisberger, especially in the championship series. They both deserve it. (Mind you, I am not wishing even BR injuries, just frustration.) I wish James Harrison success, satisfaction,…
I am glad this egregious act is being fought and hope Simonds wins the decision. After both sides had signed off on the recount, to then allow one side, and one side only, to suddenly introduce a single questionable ballot and change the decision is so obviously a corrupt decision.
Yes, the real implementation and enforcement will show whether this announcement is a face-saving publicity stunt by the owners.
This is a good change for the NFL, though I don’t understand why, other than the bad publicity, it hasn’t happened earlier. It won’t prevent all brain injury, but it should at least help. I wish it could also be implemented for players in college and high school. So much damage is being done.
I believe you’re right. If faced by an impossible candidate like Trump or Moore, he might vote for a write-in and brag loudly about his great insight and morality in doing so (as he got mileage about “changing parties” over Trump), but I can’t see him taking a chance of enraging his right wing GOP target viewers by…
Agree with you mostly, but he did announce he was changing his party affiliation to independent:
Would LOVE this outcome. Let it be so.
This page (from the Pittsburgh CBS affiliate) has information on what the procedure is, when it is used, and the kind of therapy done afterwards. There is also a video:
Hitler had 33% voter support in his country. An all too reminiscent number. It doesn’t take a majority.
That was just one plot hole of many that dropped me out of the moment. This single person, who could apparently control a huge ship with no aid of any kind, suddenly “invents” a very obvious maneuver of hyperdrive ramming, takes out all the bad guys by surprise, but waits to do it until after almost all her friends…
Yes, this plot hole bumped me right out of the moment. Why hadn’t that ramming maneuver been done before? Why were the bad guys not expecting it but knew immediately what was happening? And why, if she was going to die at her post anyway, did she wait until most of the rebel ships had been destroyed?
Another fascinating bit from the National Geographic article: she was such an integral and honored part of her community that her sealed tomb was set up so that living people could continue to visit her and share her favorite high-class drink, chicha.
