What kind of tyre do you use to not die in a fiery death ball at 400mph? Bugatti goes on about the 30 gazillion dollar a set tyres the vey/chiron uses and how you have be careful use the special key and not hit the brakes and change them immediately and shit.  This looks like a normal bike tyre?  Scary.

If they suddenly made hydrogen cheaply available at every service station I could see it. Maybe that’s the move? Wait until charging becomes a hatefest of conflicting standards and then buy all the service stations cheap and provide hydrogen at scale?

It’s a Rover PG1 gearbox. QED build a hot K series engine that revs to 8000rpm that people drop in Elises with the same gearbox, rebuilt with metal cages for the bearings so I guess it’s not impossible. Also I suppose you wouldn’t be at 9700prm all the time so there’s that.
