Unfortunately he wasn't signing autographs that day on account of the fact that he has no hands.

"Man, I'm tired of riding. I'll hitch a ride with this guy, maybe he's going to my house."

Don't worry, this bubble will crash eventually. And by eventually I mean not too far in the future.

I was in a dealership a few weeks ago looking at one for my mom, the 8 year/unlimited miles thing was already in place then. I remember it distinctly. Only for the 85kwh models though.

Somebody buy this, then go hoon offroad.

Don't you even call it a minivan!!! It's a SwaggerWagon.

1992 White Ford Bronco (You can get away with pretty much anything.)

Had me at "Rush concert." +1

If your manhood is so fragile as to be sacrificed should you be known to drive a minivan, it's not the minivan that's the issue.

I also find, when buying certain cars (read Subaru) that the depreciation (at least in Northern Michigan) is so small, you don't save enough money to make it worth it. Bought new because the used version was only $3000 less. Just didn't make sense to trade $3000 for 50k miles.

I came in here to say this EXACT thing.

I know this sounds not-jalop enough or whatever, but this is why I buy new cars. They're all new and shiny and have warranties and I pay for depreciation rather than repairs. Just a personal choice really. Paying for a repair always made me think, "I'd rather just have a car payment instead of this".

Porsche 912. It's basically the original 911 with a 4 cyl engine. Downside is it's not the 6 cyl and the badge says 912. Upside is everything else is the same and you now have a lighter car that's better balanced. In the same way soaring 300SL prices increased values of the cheaper/slower 190SL, rising early 911

These are bulletproof SUVs. I am really tempted by this one.

How about a BMW E28 M5. Should be well under $20k. Not sure if any are up on eBay right now.

Jeep Wagoneer. They are already going for crazy prices but you can still find nice ones for relatively cheap. But I think any Full Size Jeep would qualify (Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, first gen Cherokee, J-Series Pickup).

Easy, Acura NSX, of course. And it's a first gen, aka the better one. 100% stock, 800th NSX ever made. The prices will go way up when the next gen NSX finally is released.

We buy super cars quite often. It would be fun to include you in the process for the next one. i think jalopers would like to be a part of it. yeah?
