It’s not superior. If you want something to DD everyday, you want something balanced.

My parents had a 1974 Audi Fox that they got new and it was sitting in their garage until summer 2012.

For twice the price of my house, I could get a high mileage Sienna... I must really have a crappy house.

A 3.0 V6 with 224 HP is pretty depressing, those are 2003 numbers for the rest of the automakers.

Thank you, Andrew!! I've been waiting since summer for your review on this car! Hope it's great!

It's going to sell well, just like every other RX.

The main problem was that for a lot less you could get a Civic coupe that got about the same MPG. If it got 50-60 MPG it would have sold well.

It's a shame it turned out to be a lame car to begin with. It's a great looking car, but that's all that can be said nicely about it

The chinese have also invested a lot in America, which is a horrible investment because we'll never pay them back. So yeah, the Chinese may have backed Volvo financially, but it doesn't mean they'll survive in America. All the luxury automakers are making small sedans to get a new class of people into their cars...

As much as everyone is going to stab me for this, they're owned by the Chinese and that's not a good thing. Ever since the 850 they haven't been what I would call reliable. I honestly don't see Volvo in america in the next few years. There's noting unique about them that makes them stand out. You knew when a 240/740

I agree, you can get a base MDX starting in the lower $40's and it will also hold it's resale value a lot better than any Volvo on the road. Volvo's problem is all their cars are $8-10k over priced.

I'm pretty sure consumer reports would have a 1000 reasons why the 2007+ CRV is the best car for a teen

I hope it is more "truck like", the last one was great and extremely reliable, I've seen several with 300+k miles on them with no problems.... it just didn't do the truck thing right. I'd buy one if they do everything correctly

I agree with you. I currently own a 2007 CRV and about to trade it for a 2015, both with AWD. AWD in cars are not built for you to go off road rallying, they're built for extra traction in bad weather, and that's it. If I wanted to go off-road, I'd get something like a 4Runner with real 4WD.

The big difference is on the honda you don't have to take off the front bumper to change out a light bulb.

A much needed improvement over the 2nd gen and I think it could possibly be a Highlander killer. I agree that it looks like a bigger CRV, but the CRV is a good looking car. Let's just hope this thing passes all the crash tests this time.

Doug, crazy idea, you should get a car for Ubering! Think of all the crazy stories you could tell us, plus you can make some pretty decent money on the side!

It's refreshing to see a Carmax column again! I think you should buy a Honda Fit or something like that to keep the miles off of the Range so you can keep it for the next 4 years. 4 more years of Range Rover stories would be great, thanks!

Your printer is definitely an HP, I have the same problem.

It's a wagon in the same way the Focus ST is a wagon. On paper it's a wagon, but in reality a wagons purpose is to haul big things and the V60 would be a disappointment at Ikea. I'm not saying it's a bad car at all, it's just no where near the size of the 850/V70 and not even they were what I would call huge. I have a
