Here’s another couple of relevant pictures that “justify the cost”:

Uh...I’ve been over this list twice, and nowhere do I see an Aerostich 1-piece Hi-Vis.

I *did* get a “beltstaff” (read, Belstaff) jacket (for ~$700, or £600, because I bought it in the UK).

10/10 would recommend, *and* I do ride. But to be fair, it’s too nice to wear on the bike...

Here’s my combination.

A motorcycle company gave birth to a car company that built a car that gives birth to a motorcycle. The circle of life.

There’s a talking Honda Motocompo named Sou in an episode of the reimagined Kino no Tabi.

Okay, I NEED to know... WTF is that “100% Electric” camera car?

Congratulations, son of a motherless goat (don’t star me, I mean it), on COTD! I would like to gift you with a bus which this lovely lady will deliver because she is bored to death.

I heard ant-vaxx people frame it as personal choice. They say they should be able to do what they want with their lives. That’s it’s their choice and their risk and the rest of us can do what we want. But it’s not their lives as it’s almost always about the lives of their kids and it’s just risking their kids safety.

Anyone who doesn’t vaccinate their children should be tried for child abuse; it’s just as dangerous, if not more so, than the parents who beat their children or mistreat them in other ways — more so, because it also endangers other children who interact with them.

It is not the anti-vaxx fools I’m sorry for, it is their children. My Parents made sure I had every shot I could get as a child, because one of my Grandparents had one of these diseases.

Great article. There are modern extrathoracic negative pressure ventilators that are comparatively small and unobtrusive. They’re phenomenally expensive to use and service, but luckily we don’t live in some kind of crazy dystopia in which only the fortunate and wealthy have access to modern medical technology and

It’s a public safety issue. The same way we require people to take a driving test before operating a machine that can kill dozens of people on a whim, we should mandate that people get vaccinated against things like Polio (assuming they can) that could potentially kills thousands. It drives me nuts that people still

“But parents today have no idea what polio was like, so it’s hard to convince somebody that lives are at risk if they don’t vaccinate.”

Congratulations, Mr. shop-teacher, on COTD! I would like to gift you with a VW Passat which this lovely lady will deliver soon after she finishes the wash job.
