For a 4x4 this price seems surprisingly fair.  I expected to see 200K miles or something goofy like that when I kept reading.  For the price and condition, this is a rare Nice Price in this market.

I think this is paying homage to Rock Creek Park in the Bethesda/Chevy Chase areas in MD, just outside of DC. If you are familiar with the area, you know that this thing only needs the ground clearance to clear a Pomeranian.

Oh, man. A Suzuki GS500 was my dream bike when I started riding. I ended up on a Honda CB250 as my first because I feared the Suzuki would be too much for a beginner, but I’ll always love those bikes!

Thanks! It’s an interesting setup, for sure, with the carb. I promise to ride as much as possible to run gasoline through the fuel system. For the benefit of the bike, of course. Not because I can’t ride it without immediately feeling giddy.
