If I’m getting a 4-cylinder Supra... I’m getting a GR86. I still don’t get the small engine, aside from the BMW platform sharing. Yes, I know that the 90s Supra had a non-turbo option, but if you’re getting a Supra without the turbo V6, you’re doing it wrong.

The ass of this thing is just fantastic, gorgeous.

The Lotus Elise’s front clamshell. Essentially, all of the bodywork fore the A-pillar is one big piece. A crack in that clamshell can total the entire vehicle. It is difficult to remove, expensive to paint, and incredibly labor intensive to re-install. R&T ran a story in 2018 about a guy who bought one with a salvage

I don’t need a breakdown of the concept of reinvesting earnings (not profits) into a company of growth. I studied economics for long enough to know what Tesla is doing.

And even before I could see your full reply, I knew you would bring up Amazon. There’s a distinct difference. Amazon caught their competitors off-guard

And yet Elon will never notice you.

Not even in Miami. In Miami Gardens!!!

I agree that the two men were idiots, because they made a conscious decision to be in a moving car that didn’t have a driver. They were morons, and the collective IQ of society has ticked up as a result of their demise.

“Full Self Driving” is misleading. You know it is. You just won’t admit it.

Not to mention the numerous tweets from Musk that the cars are capable of driving themselves, the only thing holding them back is government regulations.

Tesla advertising their system as autonomous driving was surely a co-star.

to all the people sucking Elon’s dick in the comments: Jalopnik reports on Tesla’s FSD failures because TESLA MARKETS THEIR VEHICLES AS SELF DRIVING. If Tesla didnt advertise their vehicles as self driving, this wouldn't be a problem.

I seriously had to scroll up to see if this was posted under another site. Nope... a Jalop commentator just made the argument that an M series sports car should be governed to something close to one country’s speed limit.  My 40 year old motorcycle can go 2x the regional speed limit - why do I need that?  Should it be

This is a phenomenally poor take.

Because I’m on a track in controlled conditions. Do I need a special GPS unlock to access this? Those are so reliable.

and it’s probably a bad idea in general to sell a car with a top speed of 174.

I’m wondering if those wheels are the “winter wheels” ?

Funny how the more expensive something is the snootier and pickier we become even if there is no way we can actually afford it.

I’m going out on a limb to say that any Ferrari in good shape, with a V12, a manual, 24k miles, and a $65k price tag is a rocking NP.

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) were deleted.
