It might be the longest Podcast ever but Chris Harris’ Podcast with Nicky Grist is a brilliant listen. He talks extensively about Kankkunen and Penti Airikkala before obviously delving into his time with McRae.

Who the fuck cares.
Cash hoards are really hard to defend to shareholders and employees. You better be a rock star company to have a lot of operating cash.
I don’t think we are far apart on the enforcement angles. Lock a kid up for riding a sweet wheelie down the local Main Street? Nah. Arrest a couple kids racing down Main Street at 150 mph? Sure thing.
Another fucking idiot that thinks the auto enthusiast community is Fast & Furious.
So... A racetrack, without any of the safety equipment, first responders, or insurance.
I both live and work in Atlanta and I can guarantee you that:
There’s already a place for this! It’s called “The drag strip”. There are fire crews there, safety barriers in place, etc. TAKE IT TO THE TRACK!
Laughably bad idea.
Seriously, all this normalizing and recovery talk is completely off base. You hit the nail right on the head - nothing has changed, virus is still very much out in full force. A segment of the population has simply decided that they’re bored with it and are just going back to life as normal. This won’t make the virus…
We haven’t even hit the top of the peak yet. So, there will be, at minimum, another 80k Americans that will die from this.
If there’s anything that America is great at, it’s killing people!
It has the 507 wheels and carbon rear diffuser also. Black roof was available on P31 package as well.
It looks to me like a 507, so it’s making over 500 from the factory.
This version makes 507 from the factory.
Agreed. The pre-packaged tunes end at around 590 hp. After that it’s much cheaper to go with a supercharger. Once you get to the point of installing M159-style parts things get pricey fast. Even the hottest SLS “only” made 622 and that was at the expense of some torque.
What happens when buyer demand is still 1/4 of what it was, but production is back to normal (or close to it)?
A 40% pay cut is catastrophic for an awful lot of people.
80% of people have maintained their income...
Yeah, and those people are idiots to start splurging the moment they have some freedom. It isn’t like the economy is going to bounce back to normal the moment the quarantines are lifted. We’re going to be reeling from this for years to come. I predict many more people are going to be losing jobs, including those…
