“As someone who has flown more than 65k miles in the past 8 months, people who say “please don’t recline, I’m tall” are not frequent fliers and have no clue.”

Yep, this; fellow Delta Platinum here. The people who seem to complain most are casual travelers, because if you fly frequently, you already (and should) know the ins and outs of picking the right seat, plus at 65k miles (or more, since you said that was during eight months) per year, chances are you’re upgrading to

As someone who flies “very often,” you also realize that in many instances people have little to no choice as to what seat they are in: delayed connection caused you to miss your original flight, now you got stuck in some back row seat as a standby, you had to take whatever was available on your last minute

You seem like a bad person. You may not be, but you really seem awful.

For those of you who didn’t waste ten minutes reading the entire exerpt as I unfortunately did: A millennial journalist/blogger went to Augusta and got his tender feelings hurt because there were rules and relatively high standards of decorum. He then went on to call people names who would dare to dispute his clearly

All the facts here are accurate, but the ranting is a little babyish. If you consider yourself a guest of the club, there’s not much to get angry about. However, I can see that journalists may view their place differently than the mere ticket-buying rabble. That’s sometimes legitimate and other times self-entitled

True. My memory is fading. Fixed, thanks!

I agree. Took delivery of a 5 door ‘15 Autobahn DSG non PP GTI in October. Traded it on a ‘15 535i M Sport because of all of the issues I’ve had with infotainment, driveline, etc. Had to get VW NA involved and figured screw it, the time I spent dealing with all of the nagging issues is more valuable than the amount I

Honestly, as I’ve heard about VW is crying the blues that they can’t get more traction in the US market, crap like this is why. People who might be the brands best ambassadors, people to which others come for car buying advice get boned or end with a sub-par experience.

“Illegal immigrants are universally paid in cash under the table, depriving states of income tax. They then use services (fire, police, medical, roads, etc.) that are provided by the state that they haven’t paid for.”

I’m saying this wouldn’t be a problem if the state wasn’t taxing you because it “owns” *your* right to

Do both... engineering undergrad and then a Finance MBA is a pretty marketable set of degrees. Once you get through engineering most financial equations are a breeze and employers view the combination as someone with the ability to apply their knowledge instead of an ivory tower type MBA.

That’s why I used the term “chassis,” which notes that it is this specific car/chassis.

Yep, that's what I have as well. If you add someone to your account, it's only $25-50 and they get their 4 tows as well. I've used it 5-6 times in the last 2 years and each of those tows would have costed more than the $200 I've paid. It doesn't matter if your car is brand new, stuff like flat tires and accidents

Please try to NEVER, EVER transfer planes at Charles de Gaulle in Paris, especially if coming out of or going into the US. If you do need to transfer, try to allow yourself at least a 3 hour window and be prepared to RUN.

Ah someone is much sneakier than I.

Always avalanche truthers.

Big difference between the states and Europe: they don't do avalanche control off-piste in Europe. Good to know if you're over there, as these folks were. Also, the sweet spot for avalanches is between 36-38 degrees, but can happen anywhere from 25-45 degrees, not necessarily the steepest terrain on the mountain.

It's already 9:30AM AEDT Saturday in Australia right now, right?
