B) is completely ridiculous. As someone who qualified for Olympic Trials twice, I can tell you that no one I knew doped and I have never even heard of a single case of doping (other than accidental positives because of medication). The reason Phelps/Locte/etc. are so fast is the ridiculous specialized training volumes…

We have located a few stretches that are near level and entirely segregated with concrete containment barriers and no on/off ramps that we prefer to use.
It's not that difficult. You just put bolts into plastic bags and label the bags as you go. The key is to resist the temptation to say "driver's side valve retainers" and shove a ton of bolts, nuts, washer, and random screws and springs in together. That's when you get into trouble.
There are certainly worse options out there, but Atlanta's MARTA system may be the most useless. It goes nowhere, you want to go, the trains are often late, the bus schedule is constantly changing, and it shuts down way to early for a night out.
Yeah, we're getting away from the 'dream car' rather than exotic slightly, but I think in the list above, all of them would expect specialist attention at some point (your comments about your own maintenance aside).
