I just don’t find that super impressive (the electric version of an extant truck).

I thought it was more exciting. There was action for the entire 60 mins instead of 2 minutes of action 3 times in an hour.
All the more reason to do it if it doesn’t yet resonate. There is terrible racism in Europe.
And it was awesome! Every driver was pushing to the max and if you made a mistake, you were stuck back with the Minardis. There were so few laps done (20-22 depending on the numbers of teams/drivers) that the track didn’t substantially evolve from a rubbering-in perspective.
I don’t think racism is an exclusively American problem, unfortunately.
Well, not initially. Have you see photos of SoCal prior to ~1975?
Depends on the price point. If it’s a $150K GT3 competitor, it could be a pretty compelling car. Over $200K, less so, as it then starts to compete with the sport series (570,600) McLarens, Huracans, R8 V10s, etc.
Speculation is an extended version of the 4C tub and chassis. I don’t know if the rumored 6C/8C project morphed into this, but glad it’s getting to see the light of day.
Right, but this car (the one being unveiled next week) isn’t a hybrid.
Couldn’t disagree more. I doubt you’ve driven any of the modern, turbocharged supercars (NSX, McLaren, 488), because the last word I would use is dull.
I don’t think it’s a hybrid - not mentioned in the article or elsewhere online.
A 600hp carbon-tubbed supercar is dull? What times we live in...
Not a conspiracy theorist at all, but if you think that the Communist Party does not have the final say in activities of Chinese based companies (particularly large ones like Tencent), you are living with your head in the sand.
It was a weird response, I thought.
Obviously the advantage conferred by the double diffuser was pivotal to Brawn winning both titles in 2009. But the car wasn’t all-conquering like some of the modern Mercs were.
Why would he have stopped? He wouldn’t have.
So purposefully obtuse and combatively stupid. Got it.
First, this is all hypothetical and meant to illustrate that the championship is actually quite close - one race resulted in a 50 point swing that is currently the difference. I’m going to go into excruciating detail because I’m not sure if you’re being purposefully obtuse or really don’t understand this fairly simple…
Exactly.
Uhhh...
