That’s not how it works. Hertz doesn’t make billions in profit, they make billions in revenue before any costs are considered. Hertz had $9.78B in revenue last year, so around $815MM per month (assuming every month generates the same revenue, which is not totally accurate, but close enough for our purposes).

Also for a lot of late 90s/early 2000s Audis.

Oh god, why did you have to post that.

It would be about $170k at 7% per year, not $1.4MM

And hey, I get it. I’ve done my fair share of mountain driving at extralegal speeds. But there is a time and a place for that kind of driving, and it’s not in a heavily populated area with lots of witnesses around.

Lol, exactly.

Yes, they are. So yes, you are.

Most tracks have open track nights where they don’t care if you bring in food/alcohol if you aren’t driving. Weed, well that’s more of a state by state thing. It’s illegal here so technically you aren’t allowed to do that anywhere.

Most of the recent activity is people on non-road legal vehicles (bikes, ATVs) driving in large groups and shutting down major thoroughfares (like the interstate). There is also a lot of “racing” - basically just driving as fast as your car allows - down the interstate lately too. Not as much of the traditional street

What’s the difference between NoVA and ATL that you would never be on board with it, but think it’s a good idea here?

I own a home in Atlanta, and I can tell you, this is an idiotic idea.

It is legalized and regulated already. It’s called a racetrack/drag strip.

The brakes are legendarily bad. If you think the Z brakes well, you should go out and drive a modern car. Really, any modern car designed in the past 5 years probably brakes better.

The chassis and brakes on the 370Z are T E R R I B L E. It was worst in class from a braking and roadholding perspective when it came out 12 years ago, and time has not been kind to it.

Hong Kong Flu killed 100,000 Americans in 18-20 months (July 1968-late winter 1969/70). That’s around 5-6,000 people per month.

Plus 20% or higher unemployment. Expensive things (like cars) are going to be hard to sell for the next 12-18 months.

Yeah, “things are slowly starting to normalize” is not anywhere close to accurate.

I couldn’t see the front hood to confirm, but rear lip spoiler and black roof do look like a 507.

Yep, 451 without the development pack. What are you defining as bolt-ons?
