Is the R8 really "unreliable" or just expensive to fix if something breaks? I see that you mentioned this for the 1M, but not the R8.

Yeah, I'll edit - found the picture by searching street hawk, must've been in in lala land when I was typing the post

First thing I thought

I'm not sure about the age change, but we definitely need to do a better job educating our drivers before we just hand them a license. People(in general) have no clue that riding in the passing lane is wrong, they don't know how to properly merge, and the don't know how to handle inclement weather just to name a few.

Can't have the mainstream brand's car outperforming the performance only brand's car.

I saw somewhere(maybe the Motor Trend article) that the V8 will come at some point - at least for China, but it was also speculated that it could be the TT 4.0V8.

Or when it will "actually" get here and what the "actual" final price will be. If the model X is any indicator, we're probably still a couple of years away from seeing the Model 3.

That's what I was thinking - shouldn't there be a series for all these track only specials? I would love to see that, and then we could see who really makes the fastest car.

Yeah, this is a drawing of a concept that is supposed to debut at Geneva. Read it on another site

first thing I thought of too.

So do you hate the start button, or just think it's unnecessary? Not a dig, just honestly want to know why you hate the start button.

So this sporty package doesn't actually include anything to make the car sportier besides wheels/tires(maybe help/maybe not) and a Sport button? What does the sport button do?

I used to work in auto sales. We were paid $50 extra for every perfect survey(we also got money for perfect cars.com and yelp reviews), but we lost $250 for a survey below 750(out of 1000). What do you think the sales force did when they knew they would get a bad survey?

Yes, but as long as they are tied to money(bonuses), Satisfaction Surveys are a joke.

R33 GTR or Audi RS2

I have the 1:43 model of this exact car on my desk.

1st gear - why millennials aren't buying new cars.

Probably because they want to make sure it's slower than certain 911 variants. I know with the previous gen Cayman S they messed with the 1-2 gearing to make sure it was slower than the 911 0-60.

Audi now includes them in the MMI along with video tutorials, plus they give you the books too. They also just released an iPad app as well I believe.

Perhaps not as "exotic" as the LFA, The R8 was on par(with the V10) with it's performance and began the shift in supercars from rarely driven hard to live with supercars, to a supercar you could drive everyday. Yes the Mclaren F1 had this concept several years earlier, but the R8 was accessible to a lot more people
