This one was a Gamechanger - twin turbo, AWD, 6-spd and other wizardry that had not been seen before, and then there's the performance. Still competitive with modern super cars after 30 years in 0-60, top speed, etc. Other than the F40, no other "supercar" from the 80s can say that.

So basically Johan De Nysschen is turning Infiniti into Audi - first changing the naming convention and now an "L" version of their flagship sedan.

Not to mention a certain 1 of 2 Bugatti and another 1 of 1 Mercedes - no way he is 10 on my list. His collection is of incredible historical significance and he deserves props for maintaining, showing, and driving some of the most irreplaceable cars on the planet.

While I agree the answer is Ralph Lauren or Jay Leno. Just to throw another name out there, what about Ron Pratte? He's bought some interesting stuff over the years at Barrett Jackson - and who knows from where else.

They missed the most obvious one - the 8-speed eclipse in the opening scene - how many times did he shift?

I talked to Craig Leiberman once about the movie (That was his Supra, though it used to be yellow, and his Blue Maxima). He said the director wanted "something with fire" at this point in the race and this is what they came up with!

Because it was a TDI photoshoot. Audi wants Diesel to be seen in a positive light like other "green" vehicles. These images were used in several TDI press releases. I was actually at this photoshoot.
