There are 6 times as many cars on the roads in the US with considerably more miles of high speed highways, I’d say this accounts for the higher road fatality rate when compared with Germany.

I think a nice metallic green would of been better at standing out and everyone know you drive a $100K car.

US made steel costs more because it is BETTER! At no point in recent history has Chinese steel even been of better quality than US steel. So if sub-par steel is now $10 a pound with tariffs added US steel is $12.

It was actually designed using a wind tunnel” Maybe they should of tried actually putting the Microbus in the wind tunnel instead of using the tunnel a stencil.

Terrible tragedy. I’m only guessing, but I suspect the corner worker must of left their protected flag station and gone onto the track area. Maybe to look at the oil spill?? A very BAD idea while cars on the track are at speed.

“A: Miata”

I was more referring to people over 30 that still have their high school car. I recently had a guy in his 50's come do some yard work at my house that was driving a beat up Ford Falcon he had since High School. In fact he showed me a lipstick kiss mark on the rear view mirror his girlfriend made back in high school.

While many may disagree, I consider people that have kept the same car they had in high school a hoarder not a car enthusiast.

Where are the engine bay photos?

Is the SAM unit that thing over by the Clown Nose dispenser or the one by the seltzer water filler?

Looks like someone tried to convert an old Ford Ranchero into a sports car.

For years automakers just detuned the engines on cars they shipped to CA to meet the additional emissions standards. To meet the new standards will now require automakers to heavily modify the vehicle which will increase costs and screw up their pricing structor.

The 914 was a Porsche in name only so it doesn’t much matter. Those are Corvette tail lights.

Kind of dumb to argue such a nuanced detail of an event. Since it kind of doesn’t matter in the bigger picture.

Drifting is very hard on cars, I’m more surprised when they don’t break!

Yep, sure thing. May as well keep waiting for your new Dale to start shipping too!

True, we may as well toss on some track tires on the Oddy too just to make everything fair. So it would be the Stig in a stock Odyssey with upgraded Wilwood brakes and R7 racing tires verses Gittin Jr. in his Drift Beast. I’d pay to see that!

I truly feel sorry for you and your distorted view of the world and its inner workings. Everything you said is highly illogical when you think it through.

The local counsel said I couldn’t build a shed in my back garden, so now I just park one there.

Other than looking cool drifting is the slowest method to drive around a road course. I bet someone in a Honda Odyssey could beat his “drift” time just driving normal.
