This is really bad. Like, all these stories are bad, but the idea that they got a warrant signed for this? No force, but so casually trampling in?  This one feels ugly. Different.

It is worth noting that Ms. Thompson’s daughter was among the activists arrested, but not convicted, of tearing down a Confederate participation trophy in Durham, NC. I strongly suspect the cops are inventing a convenient excuse to inflict some extrajudicial punishment hereby.
