That was my instant, visceral reaction reading that question before I even got to the answer. That was absolutely a shut up and dribble question. Moreover, by failing to identify some actual specific source of such comments and instead just saying “some people say”, which makes it sound like the questioner is lending…

It was a really fucking stupid question Kate, and you were clearly trying to buy yourself deniability while asking it. I would have told you to speak clearly or not at all too, and I don’t know how people talk AROUND things so much.

Yeah if I were Denzel I’d have been pissed by that question too. Her question reads like a polite, journalistic way of asking him why he’s so “uppity” and he totally picked up on it.
