That’s for using certain things on their site... whether or not I click a button on their site, I didn’t sign up to have my credit collected and reported by Experian. They did it without my consent, and now my credit card info and other personal info is in danger, any arbitration clause they put forward I would

Class action lawsuit, here I come.

Look, the issue a lot of people have with cops now is not just that there are some that commit crimes or act unprofessionally, but that police forces as both a matter of stated policy (though unions) and un-stated policy (the “blue wall of silence”) are designed to make it difficult for cops to report on one another.

It appears to be glorious. Articles like this crack me up:

Well, our plan is to drive up there late Thursday evening, at midnight, and arrive in Madras at around 8 am or earlier if possible. The thought is that this would give us the best chance of getting to where we need to be with not much traffic, even in Madras...I’m hoping the traffic won’t be insane 3 days before the

SolarFest. We are in SolarTown, right on the center line of totality, in a farmer’s field a few miles north of town.

We will, but this town has been planning for this for a while; they are bringing in cell-phone towers and lots of backup stuff, and the organizers of SolarFest seem to be on the ball, so I have high hopes.

We are going up to Madras, Oregon from SF. Part of the fun of this trip is getting out of the big city and relaxing in a small town and experiencing something different. We know it will be crowded, but it’s out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a bunch of farms, and for someone who lives in a busy city with all

Uh, so, in that case, are you implying that a plaintiff suing for defamation makes the plaintiff defamed simply because the plaintiff sued? Wouldn’t you have to show in court that the damages or the actual defamation took place even before you sued as a plaintiff?

He ALSO said, and I am bolding this for clarity:

That specific instance, right after launch, is they only thing I can admit that he appears to have directly lied about. But most games don’t go into detail about what specifically is going to be in the game at launch. In fact, the development of games is FULL of games where somethin was shown in the trailer, and

“To be super clear - No Man’s Sky is not a multiplayer game. Please don’t go in looking for that experience.”

You know what he also said pre-launch?

None of this negates the single quote, which pretty much explains all of this:

“It’s not really a multiplayer game, that’s not really the way to think about it. There are infinitesimal chances, very, very small chances of you even coming across a place that another player has been to . . . The most likely thing that is going to happen is you are going to come across a planet and some other

They weren’t implemented...yet.

If you think that answering yes or no questions in a super-quick interview 3 years before the game is launch about landing on asteroids and chopping down trees constitute a “promise” and “advertising” you are daft.

Lots of folks didn’t pay attention.

“And when we ship the game not everything will be possible. But this is a game we will be making for quite a while, even after it comes out.”

Because it wasn’t advertising. They also made clear in multiple interviews that not everything they said would be in the game would be in the game at launch, something that a lot of folks chose to ignore.
