And the support for the pivot is in the middle so it either folds up and away from the bus when being pushed up from the ground, or it cams and locks into a vertical position even harder when hit. If the engineer wasn’t a moron, they would design it so that it tilted away from the bus. So it can fold up easily but cam into place even harder when hit from behind.
