The sleeping cat on the chair is almost identical to one of my kitties. I have a mother and daughter and the mother cat hates her daughter - growls at her and attacks her all the time completely unprovoked. She's a total asshole.

I agree. I don't get the rage, either. And I disagree that parents are always to blame. My parents raised us to be grateful for what we had but my brothers are now two of the most disrespectful and ungrateful humans I know.

I think I love you. I have a snoring, cuddly husband and sleeping next to him is like sleeping next to a furnace. I have my own bedroom now and it's heaven.

I also hate sharing a bed. I'm married and sleep in my own separate room. It's wonderful. My husband snores and I don't have to lie awake hating him.

Yeah - my best friend has a white mom and a black dad - was told all her life that she "must be so confused". The only thing that confused her was people telling her how confused she must be.

My friend's parents have been divorced since she was 7. Same situation: they get along very well and worked out joint custody (mom got them during the school year and dad got them in the summer and on holidays; he lived in another state). They did major stuff like graduation together with no issues.

I have two full grown cats and I can attest to the fact that they do not need, nor do they care about, space. They sleep pretty constantly. I hope you get your kitten, Mark! I'm lobbying hard for a 3rd!

Oh hell no. Women have died here because the Catholic hospitals refused to give them abortions.

The dick I work with is another woman. She doesn't think before she speaks and says racist and bigoted things on a regular basis. She's also extremely patronising - always telling me I'm "doing SUCH a great job". I do not need nor have ever sought her approval. Ugh.

No, it was a regular GP office. Crazy.

Thanks for the advice. She wasn't my normal GP. I was really disheartened. I'll go to my regular GP and talk to her - she seems to at least listen to me.
