Yep! She is rad.

Jessica Lange? I would have gone with Gina Gershon.

These don’t appear to be in the PNW yet, so thank you for making my day and then completely shattering it. WANT!!!!!

I just checked it out, and the lack of month-at-a-glance is a deal-breaker for me. I think if they added that option it would be pretty nice though (compared to the native iPhone calendar app).

Have you used the google calendar app yet? I'm curious how it compares to the native calendar. I'm not a huge fan of the Apple one, but I'd love to hear some specific reasons for changing to the Google one.

It doesn't matter, but it is way easier to see everything/find things if they're all hanging at the same height.

Interesting, every front door (in a house) I've had has been wood. They seem pretty solid, I know when we got our last one it was extremely heavy.

Steel doors? Are those common? Are people worried about axe-wielding burglars or something?

I turned on the show right when that song was playing and thought it was a joke song as part of the opening ceremonies. I haven't seen the Lego movie (I actually didn't know there WAS a Lego movie - I don't follow movies much) and had zero context, which made it baffling to find it was actually a Best Song contender.

Here's what I struggle with - every time you use a calculator you have to START by entering the amount of income you want/need to have in retirement. How can I possibly know that? I need a calculator to prepare me to use the calculators....

But the Cornejo collection! I would wear the hell out of something like that to the office.

I thought she was saying that her looks - plastic surgery or no - didn't matter, that what matters is trying to be a better version of yourself from the inside.

Same here for my $75 Alaska Air card. We put everything on it, and I've used the miles for three flights in the past year alone. Also they periodically have perks like first free checked bag (no repacking toiletries into tiny containers!).

I don't watch The Bachelor, but I happened to catch a few minutes of it last night before I changed the channel, and there was a woman who thought that New Mexico is:
1. A beach town

I'm just taking extras from my legitimate prescriptions, I don't expect it's affecting you in any way.

You shut your mouth, CDC, I luvs them. Once every 6-8 weeks I take a little staycation for a weekend day.... Some people smoke the pot, but I like what I like.

Yeah, the example looks like it went from bootcut to mom jeans.

Luxury? I'd go with Necessity.

I did something like this in my mid-20's. Was working a dead-end job, dating a series of dead-end guys, couldn't see a path to anything different. I saved every cent for 6 months (this was on minimum wage), sold everything I had of value (except for records and music gear, which I stashed with a friend), traded my car

Sigh, not really. I mostly learned to go elsewhere for advice.
