No, you’re missing the point. “No ethical consumption under capitalism” means I have to accept that at some point, in order to participate in society, I will have to give my money to people who are immoral. It does not mean that it’s ok to give your money to somebody you know is awful because you want a luxury good.

There is no purely ethical consumption under capitalism. There is, however, LESS ethical consumption under capitalism.

yeah a video game is a PURE luxury you can divest from. It’s not like coca cola or nestle who own huge percentages of the food market thus making areas where they have no competition.
