“These views and actions do not represent ABC News’s values. We just hired her, supported her, and protected her from the numerous complaints.”

Barbara Fedida, who was placed on administrative leave, has reportedly been at the center of more than a dozen HR complaints in the past few years.

I have to wonder: Has that plan ever worked? Has there ever been a movie adaptation of a beloved property where they gutted major elements and completely revamped the core of the thing, and it was a huge hit? I mean probably everything’s happened at least once, but I can’t imagine that that’s happened more often than

Also, Branagh utterly failed to understand Hemsworth’s fantastic humor chops.  Even if he wasn’t pretty, Chris Hemsworth would be a star.

Bless your heart. Check the username.

As I said when it came out, Thor only works when Loki is onscreen because Branagh had zero interest in Thor and all kinds of interest in Hiddleston’s Super-Iago from Space.

I definitely do. I read her books when I was a kid, watched some of the movies, and generally liked her. Since now she’s transformed into a billionaire lunatic bigot, I’m a little sad and also kind of fascinated to watch the train-wreck. Like, will she release another manifesto? Maybe write a NYT Op-Ed?

Whoops! I did include it under the top image but forgot to include a link in a more prominent spot. Added it now. Sorry.

She’s exercising her constitutional rights as a citizen of the US but I guess celebrities are only allowed to exercise their rights when they align with YOUR views? Really hypocritical that when celebrities support

We just walk in. The businesses are open and as packed as they can be with our social-distancing restrictions. The roads are closed to traffic, but residents and delivery people may enter with their vehicles.

So many levels of rage right now - and I’m not even watching the video.

Seattle resident here, just to put things into perspective since pretty much all media seems to be blowing this out of all proportions for various reasons. No the whole town isn’t out of control...

Wow so even white guys with guns are scary to fox viewers if they don’t have a uniform or southern swastika.

From what I’ve seen (NBC News had posted the bystander phone footage and some of the security footage, I think):

And to all the fascists and/or bigots coming with the “What else could they have done???? He was drunk driving!!!!!”

Police officers shoot and kill a man allegedly so drunk he’s passed out in his car because...he’s somehow difficult to control?

Cops kneeling doesn’t mean shit.  Buffalo police officers were kneeling with protesters and the very next day shoved 75-year-old Martin Gugino to the ground and walked past him as he bled from his ears.
