The game’s deadlines, set by the board of directors, were always unrealistic. It was clear to many of the developers that they needed more time.

It’ll happen to any company that ends up becoming very successful and that has to answer to a board and shareholders: decisions that were made balancing reputation, customer satisfaction, profitability and (long-term) growth are reduced to profitability and short-term growth.

Not to mention the fact that CD Projekt Red is a publicly traded company, and they obviously wanted the game on shelves before Christmas.

They open up by apologizing for the way the game plays on PS4 and Xbox One.

The so-called fans of these companies—of the company, remember, not the individual series or games they released—might have felt that because there’s a recent track record of success the hits would just keep on coming forever, and that for every middling two-bit publisher out to fleece customers and release

Was it an upside down revolver?!

For once spending two hours in the character creator and locking in what I want before being able to do anything paid off

Oh for sure, the AC version is even more sanitized. Like zero of them axe down random people? They aren’t kidnapping women to drag back to Norway?

The Vikings, as it turns out, according to Assassin’s Creed, are a very measured group, capable of nuanced diplomacy to quench their thirst for peace.

The World of Warships one is just baffling. They were specifically told by their partner in their new promotion not to use this guy, which they are made aware of before any shit hits the fan, and then claimed it was human error and internal communications problems? Naaaaah.

No game breaking bugs, some minor ones, but lots of crashes.

The game—very likely my Game of The Year nomination

There’s the NFAC (Not Fucking Around Coalition) which is involved in BLM protests, they open carry and are black nationalist/separatists. There’s also the rapidly growing Socialist Rifle Association, and a couple of John Brown clubs (white guy who shot slaveowners).

Besides bugs which mostly I can forgive if they’re just like clipping or getting stuck on shit, the game crashes on my PS4 roughly every 4-5 hours.

Which Microsoft game do you think he cares about playing based on this article?

You also unlock the option to assassinate high value targets in the yellow skill tree, so you can kill practically everything instantly, letting you cheese high value raids or treasures.

If you can master the very generous parry window and dodge red attacks, even Drengr is not bad when you’re level appropriate.

My most efficient “stealth” tactic for this game is to just run away from the sight notification direction as fast as possible, they drop interest immediately or a few seconds after you break line-of-sight. This is on Master Assassin. Always run towards whatever object you’re interested in. If it’s a Raid the vikings
