I'm surprised MotionX GPS is not on this list, it's just a few bucks and when i was on vacation in FL it worked flawlessly. I was very happy and i didn't have top pay a couple of hundred bucks for a Tom Tom like gadget. (hmmm $200 vs 2.99? for the same thing)

i don't about every one else but seems like to me lately you guys are lacking in the iPhone app "best app of the week"area. it maybe because your trying to be more rounded to the other platforms but still.

@Trevor Do: Ahh i see, yeah i heard of the trojan but didn't know much more about it. So that is like a the jail break equivalent to Cydia on the iPhone. @spidermedic: True but that's why ( i would think) that Apple is more restrictive and yes its hard to prevent anything and of course that's why they put out more OS updates then droid, when ever they find a hole they patch it up fairly quick.

@Trevor Do: Not sure if your talking about Android or not? (not a droid user not sure how it is) I mean i've seen it and played with a friends droid but i haven't seen how it handles downloading etc.

@Mark_B: Good point, but since they system is closed and not open, one would think it would be harder to pull off something like that in the App store vs the Android version since there is open to any one even those who tend to do harm where as with Apple it's more restrictive.

I hope it come back its an awesome app i sue it all the time, and i hope Apple lets the volume as a shutter button feature in its a very cool and usable feature.

On the other hand there with Android there is a virus going around from a app that looks like a media player when in fact its a Trojan, So in a way the strict hand of the Apple gods is a good thing.
