Lindell has replaced his crack addiction with an attention addiction. His need for the limelight, even in the backwaters of the right-wing Internet universe, is greater than Trump’s. It’s telling that The Donald doesn’t seem to think that light is bright enough to bother with.

My go-to is “Okay, so I KNOW that you’re lying, now what I’m trying to understand is WHY?”

Whatever happened to just calling someone an asshole? Or a piece of shit? Or dishonest? All these simple ways of describing things that are, in actuality, very simple indeed.

What you say is two words...

A lot depends on your needs and how well you can manage them in your situation. I go more for non food goods, though there are some food items we characteristically buy as long as we’re at it. Also, in my area, since a Costco is nearby, the savings on gasoline alone are pretty significant.

nothing in a grocery store is randomly placed. There is a very, very well thought out planogram with decades of market research behind every display, placement and sale.

Couple other points from an old guy:

I like them to be public and out, so that patterns, motivations, and behavior can be traced to better prevent violence, and prosecute crimes.

Willing to bet they are starting to think about their actions. As in, “If my boss sees a photo at one of these events what will happen at work” type thing as more stories come out about companies being boycotted for employing participants of such events, or others just firing overt racists as they don’t know that such

This. Was. AWESOME. I so love their transgressions being so fully laid out.

Damn. I was just going to mention how embarrassing it must’ve been to watch his wife aggressively sucking up to Trump Like he was a God King, but you took it 100 steps beyond. Enjoy this slowly building clap: 👏...👏...👏👏👏👏

“I have experienced Asian American prejudice.”

I read this entire piece, waiting for it to get there. But there’s no there, there.

Nah, it’s not just you. This entire article has a very strange tone, like they were really trying to find something to criticize about the show, but never quite managed to find anything more substantial than vague jabs about idealized images of the South, or insufficient depth to the history.

I think you want both public and private investment. Seems like that’s a clear lesson we should have learned from the 20th century.

And one thing that concerns me about relying on Musk to fund space travel is: Sure, space science develops tons of cool stuff! When NASA develops that cool stuff, it benefits all of us. If SpaceX develops it, will it still trickle to the public in the same way or will it be too profit-driven to benefit people?

That take is terrible.
Yes, billionaires are the product of a dumbass system, but humans are capable of doing multiple things AT THE SAME TIME ! I know, incredible.

We can do science, research, space stuff, ... AND tax people more intelligently as to redistribute the wealth and take care of humanitarian issues.
