So does the book or movie address that everyone in the future is completely unoriginal and show no real creativity? That’s what it sounds like, unless people are creating new ideas/creations within OASIS.  

Name a movie on any streaming service that could qualify. They are better than traditional straight to DVD, but not up there to be released in theatres. Otherwise I believe they would be. Many of these movies are bought by streaming companies.
