I’m just a bit puzzled by the whole Windows 10 S thing. I understand it’s useful for school laptops that you don’t want the kids installing malware and whatnot on by accident, but as a normal consumer all-around laptop it seems like a miss. Can it also run normal Windows 10? Otherwise I’d say it is a pretty niche

Except Level 5 is not Nintendo. They want as many sales as possible for the new Layton game, and with the 3DS having a much MUCH larger install base than a fresh new system, they can sell more there. Level 5's priority is game sales, not Switch system install base.

Ah I was wondering when they’d put out one of those. Checked around Switch release time and didn’t see one.

On the Switch, there’s also a difference if you have the game installed in the internal storage or on an SD card. There’s some bottleneck that makes internal faster.

Hmm, yeah, maybe. I guess you could have let people play the complete World 1 instead of just 1-1 - 1-3. Which is actually a change in version 2.0, some challenge you can do to open up 1-4 for free. Haven’t tried it, since I bought the full game after the first level :D

Weird ideas for how to pay for stuff? I.e. the first levels as a playable demo and the rest of the game in a maybe slightly expensive, but still attractive package without the need for further boosts and microtransactions?
Someone call the consumer protection bureau!

The problem is you have to spend 100 hours getting outgunned by whales who just bought the damn thing. And that’s just 100 hours for ONE weapon.

Here is the best way to play BitCity:

Another nice feature are big improvements for the PSVR Cinema mode, the resolution of the “fake screen” is much higher now.

Easy fix:

It’s intended purpose is to annoy your friends? Sure. More like pester them enough to cough up the 1$ fee, which is most likely just a setup to steal credit card information.

The “first good” video games movie? May I remind you of the amazing “Ace Attorney” movie?

Saw it on a SAS flight this month (they have it on their trans-atlantic flights at the moment).

While you can’t officially replace your HDD in an Xbox One, I think Microsoft went the right way with their full support for USB drives. While it doesn’t look great to have an extra drive sitting on your XBO all the time, the ease-of-use is just a winner. And even better if you want to bring your games over

Can we stop pretending that Monopoly is in any way shape or form good, fun, engaging, interesting, entertaining or relevant?
It is just rolling dice and then spending ages of time carrying out the results busying yourself with pushing money around until the game finally grinds down to the end.
At least board game

Move Controllers can also be used for Trance Vibration in Rez Infinite. Not as powerful as the OG Trance Vibrator, but you can connect 4 total AFAIK. Just say’in.

Now playing

I must admit, I’ve never seen They Live, but good art can be interpreted in many ways. Author intent can only go so far.

Hmm, I do agree with the notion that Rogue One isn’t going to be a classic like Episodes 1-6 (yes even 1), but there is a point.

Sorry to hear your connection is so bad. That sucks :(.

Unless you live somewhere that has really bad internet, and you’d have to wait for a movie to buffer, what use would this be on a PS4, Xbox, ect? Or do you have a habit of shlepping your PS4 around?
