Wait wait wait WHAT? WiiU plays GCN in Wii mode?!

Even better idea: backwards compatibility with GameCube games. But then again, the drive might not be able to actually read GCN discs due to the size :(

Yeah he sure is. VERY. The design in the game in general is great. BJ (though I guess the name is a bit unfortunate, if funny) is the right kind of sexy, and the uniform designs (if you can compartmentalize the fact that they are supposed to be nazis) are very kinky hot as well.

They didn't get that far. They were trying to go for the whole Germanic "super"human thing, so they'd probably select mates for you, though it is very, well, kind of them to give you a veto in a way.

Thanks for the reminder!

It is already out here in Europe. I see it on shelves everywhere, mocking my decision to get a US 3DS...

It really is too bad it isn't a semi-functional Mega Drive, (i.e. plays the old cartridges). it could easily be done if they wanted to.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and Elite Beat Agents are very attention grabbing as well.

Oh YES, so many times yes.

Yeah but the DS didn't have an online store and DLC that needed to hook into games. With the current system you can only use games for the same region as the eShop you are accessing. If you were to be able to play games from a different region, how would the DLC work? Stuff that bypasses the eShop like the Layton

Yeah like I said. 2 additional frames of input lag under theoretical ideal conditions, which you won't have even a chance of having unless Sony's rendering farm is in the same city as you. It simply takes your physical input 2 frames time to even make it to the rendering farm in that case.

The only Nintendo consoles that ever were region free were their handhelds. Which makes a lot of sense. Ppl bring them on vacations so being able to pick up games you see at the airport/vacation is great. But with the 3DS they went balls-to-the-wall import unfriendly. Most likely though is is due to their obsolete

EXCUSE ME?! Nintendo's home consoles have ALWAYS been region locked. Heck on the SNES even the friggin CONTROLLERS were region locked.

How do you suppose Sony is running these games? Buildings FILLED the the brim with PS3s?

unless the Sony rendering farm is in your backyard (i.e. same city) you WILL have lag. It might not be very noticeable for some kinds of games, but forget anything about playing a decent fighter, rhythm game, or anything that of that sort. Just the ping to your local ISP is likely 30ms or more, which for a 60fps game

Sounds like you have an early Japan model. Iirc they switched to a fan cooled version with the US and PAL launches.

It is really mind boggling that the guy who made the original Panzer Dragoon managed to mess this up. It sounds like it was a game made by committee and then because of the many shifts in game direction, got overly muddled.
Starting out as what seemed like a bid from MS to get a Japanese-produced hardcore Kinect game,

A lot of the Xbox One games are launching over the course of the week, with some launching on the 22nd, most notably exclusives and downloadable games.

According to Digital Foundry, the power consumption actually jumps by 10-20W when you open the PS menu during a game, I'd assume the highest consumption would occur when you livesteam a game via Twitch or UStream.

Can anybody confirm if it is multi voltage (120-220v) like PS3?
