KSR's style takes a little getting used to for sure. Once you get accustomed to it though, it's nice and cozy. Like a favorite sweater on a cold day. Years of Rice and Salt is probably my absolute favorite though.

I had actually forgotten(blocked out?) that I had seen "A Sound of Thunder". Great Scott, that was a piece of shit. I honestly don't think I've ever seen a worse movie. Peter Hyams is an awful hack, and Ed Burns is probably the worst actor of his generation. The SFX were just stupid.

I've always thought that the whole argument along these lines is pretty stupid. For one thing, the climate scientists keep saying that in order to stem the tide of bad effects brought on by increased global temperatures. We as a species have to dramatically reduce emissions, like yesterday.
