Maybe if the Chinese say that they're going to go mine it, it'll start a new space race?

I've seen RoboCop. I've seen Superman. Robocop is no Superman. People flocking to some smallish city in Illinois to attend a festival for an American cultural icon of the highest order. Is quite different than people going to Fucking Detroit to see a statue of a rather obscure 80's movie.

Yeah, I thought the sex-scene was actually rather artfully done. The music gave it some class.

Ironside would never stoop to that level!

I'm not saying you're wrong, but the Spartans were rather misogynistic on the whole. I thought it was like an old western personally. It was an action movie, nothing more.

Charlie Jane, where do you find the courage to screen these magnificent bombs? Week after week, cheesefest upon cheesefest. I don't know how you do it.

Why does everybody hate on Zach Snyder so much? I don't think he's ever had any sort of delusions about where his talents as a film maker lie. 300 was a perfect action movie, the Dawn of the Dead remake was tightly done on a relatively small budget, and Watchmen's problems basically stemmed from the fact that it was

You really have a point there, but third act problems are as old as film.

My wife hates my maquette collection. I think that may be why I like it so much. The ones I saw here have me intrigued...

I saw a BBC 4 film with Andrew Garfield in it.(Something about abducted little girls, the Yorkshire accents gave me a headache.) I dunno if I can see him as Peter Parker now.

How do you think Simon West is gonna mix in 'SPLOSIONS!, into a swords and sorcery flick. That guy's style make Michael Bay's seem restrained.

Matt Vaughn is directing right? Or do I have that wrong? If it is him I have faith. "Layer Cake", "Star Dust" and "Kick-Ass" were all really good. This will be no different.

His writing is a bit on the "gritty" side, but he might be the perfect guy for this. I wonder if they could recast Val Kimer in the Pepper Potts role. He certainly has the breasts for it. Yeah I called Val Kilmer a fatty.

Okay. I have to say it doesn't usually work out all that well when I attempt to post a comment about how, other than not being able to access the site from work(the lone redeeming quality of this job was that I could complete my assigned tasks in a relatively short period of time and then coast through the night with

I had that Darth Vader costume for Halloween. It was either 78 or 79, but I had it. It was a horrible smelling vinyl thing and the eye holes really dug into my face. Good times, Good times.

Oh thank God! I thought I was the only one who went to Fleshbot to see if I had notifications. Yeah....That's why I was going to Fleshbot. Totally.

I think the NOAH project is beyond a pipe dream. I hate to say it but Louisiana is just a wee bit backwards as far as that sort of thing goes. Besides who's gonna build it? They have no trust in government, so they're out. What private enterprise would want anything to do with it?

Star Wars is the very 1st movie I have any memory of seeing. The amount of joy I experienced the X-mas of 1978 has still never been equalled. I'm ashamed to admit that this is the first time since 97 I've watched the original cut. I forgot how wonderful it was.

All that mental heavy lifting, just so they could find newer and better places to rape and pillage.

Jesus. When will it end? I thought the end had been signaled by the re-boot of the "Wizard of Oz", but I guess that it has only just begun.
