Sound and Fury signifying nothing. There is absolutely no fucking way that Sony is gonna make Spider Man a black guy. Personally I think it's a great idea. Forget a black president, you want to talk about post racial America then make Spider Man Black. That would be progress.

Oh, I had forgotten about the Terminator Salvation trailer. That trailer was so good, and that movie was so disappointing. They should let the people who cut that trailer together make the next movie(if there is one) Anybody that can take McG's steaming pile of mess and make it seem compelling has to have the chops…

@Optneo: Every trailer for Katheryn Bigalow's "Strange Days" they completely misled people. The movie was great but nobody went to see because the trailers sucked.

@m-d: I appreciate the reasoned response , but I didn't like SG1 very much. It was the kind of show my 50 something father liked. It had all the trappings of a Sci-Fi show with none of the geekiness. I enjoyed Atlantis more even if it did get more and more like SG1 as it wore on. I really was hoping for a grittier…

The reason this show isn't a home run is simple. The production staff and writers are trying too hard to make the show like SG1. Obviously that's where most of the talent got their start(behind the camera mostly) and they seem to "run home to mama" when faced with a creative decision.
