Luckily she really doesn't have to be subtle on this with Elizabeth, who's practically begging her to do it.

Yeah, Paige honestly doesn't seem very interested in music at all, so despite her radio in one scene playing, iirc, something that was really forward for the time, I don't think she's into any interesting bands at all.

She's not pregnant this season and last season there were sex scenes.

I thought it was more like the opposite—Elizabeth didn't actually have anything she could think of to do until Paige made her think about it. She wasn't saying that to tempt Paige. Note when Paige asked if she liked what she did she still couched it in terms of the heroism of it all. Like it was something a good

That must be why she's the only one who goes there in her office.

Yeah, seriously. Elizabeth just has to show up for this guy. He's hardly going to kick her out of bed. He thinks she's one of his harem. But go Philip for turning it around. Anybody who says Elizabeth is better at this isn't grading fairly.

I don't think it has anything to do with Philip's finesse. It's always more about the target than some magical skill the two of them have. This woman doesn't want more than sex.

Thanks so much! So the flashback scene did it exactly right because he was using her name to her her attention. I know I had heard people use that form of a name elsewhere (I remember watching something where someone often said "Mish" to address a character named Misha). But I didn't know it was an actual case.

Iirc, at the start of the Philip/Irina flashback scene he calls to her and it sounded like "Ireesh." (probably better to spell it than way than Irish-LOL) Maybe it was actually Irisha and I just didn't hear the last syllable. I had gone back to watch it again because it occurred to me that in the scenes in English

He did go back to Russia. When he returned in S3 he mentioned his hometown (I think) not being the same. He claimed that's why he came back, but that might not have been entirely truthful. But anyway, he told them he'd gone home and come back.

IKR? And Elizabeth doesn't even give Paige a break by giving the short version. When Paige asks their real names Philip of course chooses the shorter version that's totally familiar-sounding to Paige. Elizabeth of course uses her whole name, just as she did in talking to Philip.

Yeah—speaking as an English-speaker with an American accent I know I'd have trouble with "We love you very much"—it's got a couple of awkward sounds in there. But still, it stood out. ("Tibia" especially stood out.) It's too bad she couldn't have nailed that one thanks to a lot of work.

I loved it when Elizabeth carefully pronounces her real name to Paige and she's totally saying it wrong. It's as if she's teaching her how to pronounce it the wrong way. I think she says "Na-day-ee-ezh-da." LOL. Elizabeth would HATE it.

Nah, Elizabeth never put in that effort. She didn't pretend it was real.

Yes! It shows also in retrospect how great the Martha operation was. Philip didn't just pick her because she was single and therefore desperate. She had very specific desires and Clark was perfect for them by design.

Ah! Okay, if you're into the music on the show, let me run this by you. I liked Kimmie listening to Yaz and thought it fit—I loved that album so just remembered it. But someone on another board claimed it was waaaay to early for even Kimmie to probably be listening to it. And Paige would probably not know of it at all

To be fair, they didn't jump to that conclusion themselves, they were told that's what was going on. They still should have considered the more logical explanation, of course.

I don't think Matthew actually sees his dad as boring or conservative.

Totally agreed. He is pushing, she just naturally ascribes it to non-spy reasons. It's like Martha and Clark's toupee.

I actually get the impression it's the opposite, that they're just waiting to actually do something with Henry soon. I thought this week something would come of it, but still nothing. I mean, given the set up here with the parents as Russian spies it just doesn't make sense to ignore one like Bobby Draper because the
