It's not a gang membership. People becoming spies aren't required to kill somebody. And why would she be expected to kill two of the best agents the KGB has, not to mention her own family, which would put her at the center of a lot of attention as the sole survivor of a family massacre? Besides that, Paige wouldn't do

Who says he has no idea Philip's a spy? Irina knew it. She knew he was an Illegal. Not that this stops him from being dangerous and blundering around looking for somebody secretly Russian—he might as well ask the FBI for help.

Setting who up? The Jennings? If Stan thought there was reason to set them up he'd arrest them. they have to convince them they're toothless (which Philip does a lot). Stan's already established himself as the badass FBI guy. And he's already close to them.

Right, that was Fargo. The guy looked like Philip in his Fernando get-up and the woman had a black bob? The cop was talking to the kid in a booth. That was a Fargo commercial. It's kind of fitting that there's confusion, though.

Actually they really weren't earned. He's a big mooch. At least until this year when he's making dinner for the kids.

The employees are totally normal. They don't work for the KGB.

I always remember how when Elizabeth came back from recuperating from the gunshot wound for 3 months there's a scene where she's looking at the books and they had a great 3 months. Like how much of a gem is Philip? He was a single dad for 3 months and a spy and the cover business may have even thrived more with him in

I don't think you can call it a misdirection if it's not happening. There was nothing in the episode to direct us to believe it's 1987 at all.

They wouldn't need Paige to make their arrest possible or to spy on them for them. P&E are completely vulnerable if Stan knows they're spies. It's game over. There's nothing Stan needs to do or have to arrest them. He can just do it.

Those were characters on Fargo meeting other characters on Fargo. It was a commercial.

No, the business is entirely real. They have clients, we hear about them. They make money. The employees do the jobs of actual travel agents—and so do P&E a lot of the time. They are actual travel agents.

He wasn't in a gulag, he was in a mental hospital for being crazy enough to criticize the war. Presumably the "powerful people" who got him back was Philip—not Philip himself since he didn't even know where he was, but people who checked up on him knowing that one of their Illegals was his father. So the Centre in

They are there pretty regularly and do know their employees, actually. The employees probably know the kids pretty well too.

I think Pasha was there for 2 months but I believe Tuan had just arrived allegedly from Michigan.

But those laws aren't really based on any real need. A body does not need to be embalmed or buried asap or else they'll be some big spread of infection. Nowadays there's a growing movement for natural burial that avoids embalming even if you're not being cremated.

And criticizing them for not being harsh enough too, as a younger person will often do. That said, Elizabeth can be pretty naive too. I think him, Hans and Lucia are all examples of younger spies. They're zealous enough to go into the job and haven't gotten jaded yet.

Yeah, there'd be no reason to embalm it. But if they kept it on ice until burying it and then put it in cold ground, it doesn't seem like it should have decomposed that much. I think people often assume this stuff happens more quickly than it does. Like people think a dead body will be putrid within 3-4 days.

I think you're missing the advancement of storylines. That is, what they see as advancement you don't. Because they have done that.

1) Tuan's watching the A-Team
2) Elizabeth's wearing more make-up in Mrs. Eckert and that makes her look older. Also yes, they always change their clothes before they go home. Her other character has a totally different fashion style.
3) The last season ended early January and now it's mid-February. So it was long

I think they clearly don't, despite what we see from the outside, for exactly that reason.
