I think we saw him say that the job ending meant them going back to Russia if William talked. Though i don't think he'd talk either. He wouldn't want to give them up.

William might not appreciate that…

Honestly, Paige has had quite a few months to do some research. Read some Jon Le Carre or something Paige. It covers all this stuff!

At the least it showed what got Henry's attention - family being in danger. This makes him more reliable than Paige quite possibly. Remember that bottle back in S1.

What would anybody be able to find on one of those things though?

It matches his cologne.

i liked how Henry totally snapped to attention at the idea of his family in danger. That's a nice little clue about him there.

Why would they split up? If William talks they're both blown and both go home.

Wow, thanks! :-) I've been totally enjoying your comments as well!

I think the close up of the two hands is actually from an earlier ep where Philip was giving a tape to Gabriel—if that's what you're referring to. Oleg could still be giving something to Stan, but it might not be a physical object.

Yes! I remember seeing a still from an ep and his body language was the same way. It looked very Clark. It's not like he took off the wig and relaxed, he just keeps becoming another version of Clark.

To be fair, this show isn't ever saying their disguises would really keep them from being recognized by anyone who knew them. They just complicate things if somebody is giving a description. I always remember Elizabeth even said once that if she got picked up (in disguise) by the FBI they'd have exactly how long as it

I think she often is a street thug assassin brawler. When she fought the Israeli guy she totally lost control to the point where she was "killing his arm" as the showrunners put it. In that case she didn't have a weapon, so was just whaling on the guy. When the two guys in her house attacked her she did all she could

I wonder if there's more going on with Pastor Tim here.

Elizabeth bugged his office. Philip referenced things he heard on it last week.

I really think you're remembering that wrong. Her story about asking her mother about being a spy was the opposite of that. There was no encouraging or talk of a better life. Elizabeth said her mother "told me to go and serve my country." Her spy work was a sacrifice for her country that her mother told her they had

I think they knew who they were dealing with there, though, so there was a good chance he wouldn't. Or if he did deny getting her pregnant he'd still be horrified and shamed at her killing herself afterwards.

Nope, never got a chance. They just said they had a proposal and we've never heard an explanation from anyone else.

He doesn't associate with him yet, but it's possible he'll suddenly remember telling him about it in the future.

Yes, I know conditions were terrible but I really think you're mistaken about any actual flashback about her mother telling her to be a spy for any reason, much less so that she doesn't have to wait in line for bread. There was a flashback of her mother refusing to take food from a party official because she told
