I strung a guy on once (I usually try to work in the “I am a meat popsicle” phrase from Fifth Element) and finally just asked him if this really works on people or if he is just hoping its being sold by some old lady. His response was that I would be surprised at how often it worked. He then asked if I wanted in on

Something tells me the guard suddenly found he has a boatload of free time on his hands.

It was certainly interesting.

Nice article. I’d add two things:

God I miss my sv650.

Target fixation.

Real world. They never show you how far you can lean your bike over in a corner without falling. This kills people who get into a corner to hot, panic and stand it up and run off the road. It is stunning how far you can actually lean a street bike over. Minus all the poser cruisers where you will drag something at the

I appreciate the discretion of the owner, but would said owner be willing to share his techniques for other enthusiasts? Another form of communications would be necessary. An EK9 R has been on my short list of forever cars for a long while. It’s from a moment in time when Honda was the daddy of small displacement

It has been replaced with a Mercedes ML350 Bluetec SUV, pretty much the same engine but the extra 1200 lbs takes some of the fun out of it.

I feel like a broken record here sometimes, but I’m loving my Duramax Canyon.

I always liked the V10 TDI Touareg.

I mean, maybe not exactly a car, but I’m in love with my 3.0L V6 turbodiesel Sprinter.

335d. My sister owned one for a while, and I got to use it for my daily for a few months while she was overseas. Was literally the perfect car for SF. Shitloads of torque for the hills, great mileage and still fun to drive. Drove it to LA and got 600 miles to a tank(IIRC, could have been a bit less). Was sad when she

Never made it to America, but I remember being absolutely blown away when reading about the Q7 V12 TDI. No clue how good it was, but anything with over 700 lb*ft of the twisty stuff is good enough for me.
