I actually JUST read that entire thread.

I had always thought the purpose was to get to that right combination of genes through breeding. If we are to live longer, does that mean we would not be monogamous or would it all become a scientific gene match and the best and brightest would be the only ones breeding? We want beautiful, smart kids and to be happy…
