I'm with you. I'm not sure what Pedro could have done differently in that situation. Seeing him talk about it in interviews, you can tell that the whole situation really shook him up and left him feeling awful.

"Nickle and Dimed" is a great book, kudos for you having your daughter read it. My mother put me on to Studs Turkel as a child and it effected me deeply.
