Part of this is down to the bristling idea that superhero comics shouldn’t—and, bizarrely enough, can’t—feature commentary on current social issues. That, to some people, superhero comics are meant to be for young kids, and because they deal with people in spandex punching people in spandex, they should be sequestered…

Even though this episode wasn’t as electric (heh) as the last two, it was still a great foundational episode that will have big implications for the season to come.

I might get rapped in the mouth for this but I liked the Mirror of Fate version of Simon a lot more than the classic look:
