Wide Receiver: Satan Bowl Sunday
I just want to know what the subtitle will be/would have been for the third one. Believer, Deceiver... Dreamweaver? Da Bieber? Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver?
nah hes the only cool character in castlevania besides dracula himself.
I’m glad that after 3 years and $120 million dollars they were finally able to make Cyberpunk 2077 a playable video game, I guess. A shame that despite that enormous budget, it still has absolutely nothing new, interesting, or insightful to say about it’s own setting beyond aping the most well-worn settings, stock…
Yeah, the notion that we’d somehow turn a corner and figure our shit out in a century or two is wildly naive (sorry to burst your bubble, but Star Trek isn’t happening). Given the speed of evolution, that’s nowhere near enough time for humanity to outgrow the detrimental base instincts that are now actively harming…
And there is now even less chance that the Epic client will compete with Steam feature-wise.
So management thought dumping crazy amounts of money into free game giveaways and exclusives, cancelling every in development game besides Fortnite, and starting a legal war with Apple would pay off, and it hasn’t.
There should be a bit less Ellis to it if nothing else.
I think this is mostly spot on. Ubisoft is maybe better with the gameplay basics like traversal and combat (though Starfield may have changed that), but Bethesda is much better with immersion, writing, world building, and environmental storytelling, which critics seem to totally gloss over at this point.
It’s the same knee-jerk cycle every time. Ubisoft makes 15 copy-paste games a year and it’s all shrugs and murmurs from the peanut gallery, but Bethesda takes the better part of a decade to make a true open-world sandbox and they get absolutely blasted for it by the commentariat. It’s not a perfect game but I really…
I know this is going to cover Rondo of Blood, but the game leads directly into Symphony of the Night. I really hope they carry the whole story through.
I’m so excited for this. SotN was my favorite of the games and if they give it the same amount of love the first series was given, I’m in for the long haul.
I think they’re skipping Portrait of Ruin since Bloodlines was the direct sequel (plus they would have to explain the Morris bloodline and Bram Stoker’s Dracula) and they’re using Elizabeth Bathory as the main villain for Nocturne.
So you instead advocate for them to pay 70 dollars to arrive at the same conclusion of what their gut told them in the first place because you have nothing more than that tired half-defense?
You don’t have to drive a nail through your dick to know it’ll suck.
Why is Sonic Team so fucking reluctant to even consider the idea of just creating high-quality 2D sprites?
Exactly. They’ll probably reverse this opinion when they see fans once again develop their own 2D Sonic games (which is essentially how Sonic Mania was created in the first place).
Insiders have been rumbling about this for a while.
I agree with the pointlessness of melee weapons.
