Was there a huge market for this? Were the masses clamoring for this to be updated? Modern gameplay and visuals? Is TLOU some ancient relic here? I get remastering things from like Wii and earlier. But this?

New exclusives are one of the main draws for Game Pass though, and they’re beginning to run dry

I don’t know anything about the film (I’m assuming it won’t go this far chronologically) but it would be great to hear her speak in Madonna British.

All of these Nintendo sports games feel way too light for their pricing.

I still can’t believe Nintendo charges top dollar for these types of games. I gladly pay asking price for any of their marquee franchises (except Smash. Bleh) but full price for an arcade sports title is ridiculous, even if it has Mario in it. Nintendo should have a “B Tier” pricing strategy for titles like this.

has she been stockholm sydnromed? this is clearly going to be a disaster of a movie and i’m also perplexed by her team sabotaging her like this.

She’s got a knack for confounding accents so I’m here for it.

I used to also say “well I’ve been able to enjoy it without spending money” on games such as Diablo Immortal. However the work of journalists such as Laura Kate Dale and James Stephanie Sterling, along with reading many horror stories over the years, has convinced me that there’s a very real human cost to monetization

People are allowed to enjoy what they are gonna enjoy”.

Ya man burying the pay wall is an easy way to stoke a sunk cost fallacy.

The estimates I’ve seen have found that it would take at least $100,000 and up to $500,000 to fully upgrade your character. Or, if you want to play the game exclusively “free”, you would need to sink anywhere from 10-20 years of continuous play to do it.

It inarguably is Pay2Win, but the Pay2Win element is pretty delayed (and is about the gems, not the other gear elements), so its unsurprising that you haven’t felt it yet if you haven’t been playing 24-7. I’d definitely agree it’s an extremely strong “made for mobile” experience, but the monetization is deeply

It’s not really free, which I guess is why they invested so hard on it.

Diablo Immortal Is Far Too Good To Be Free”

Bullshit. Any game this has to push micro transactions this hard is a MAJOR red flag.

The moment this game was announced, there was feedback. Majority negative but regardless any feedback is helpful.

What did they do with this feedback, they decided to nickel and dime their

Yeah....it’s no where near as simple as you’re making it. Particularly in an industry like video games, I imagine there was a point where the GB crew couldn’t really do this on their own. Particularly if they want to maintain access, be able to get good equipment, and to pay people.

Rock and Chappelle are both makin bank off of being attacked, so no surprise they’ll turn it into a live show.

Oh yeah? Put on Dancing Queen and watch the dance floor fill up.

It was objectively underbaked. My buddy and I bought it because nostalgia and some decent word of mouth. It was like the devs ran out of money or something, so much of the game seemed to either be missing or slapped together in a way that no one could have thought was reasonable for a game in this day and age. Playing

Well, Gomez and Morticia seemed pretty sexually adventurous...

She’s written consistently haunting and beautiful music for nearly fifty years. Stunning voice, talented musician, composer, and dancer.
