Not sure at all.
Not sure at all.
Hot Satan is a new trope that I am strangely here for.
I don’t think it’s a terrible movie. I think it’s a masterpiece.
And please darling, go through all of Hitchcock’s films (especially the later ones) and correct all the plot holes and irrational character actions. I’m sure you’ll be able to provide much better pictures than he mustered up. Hell, do it for the entirety of cinema. God knows the plausibles employ so much moronic logic…
And my God, stop with the spelling or grammar corrections. We get it, you get off on being right and winning every argument with subtle jabs.
Once again though, the movie would get mired down in technical details if they kept explaining and adding equipment in case of some threat. Eventually, you just have to rely on the audience to overlook that stuff.
I think he outright says his just skeptical of David at that point, he just wants to know what’s going on and isn’t sure what David knows or is doing.
no its not
I sort of get the Oram criticism, but he is established as a fucking moron right from the start.
There is rational provided for every single character action in Covenant.
The implication in the film is that since the planet is habitable and they already have evidence that a human (Shaw) is on the planet they likely didn’t consider any possible threats. And once again, the detail is minor and an actual inconvenience to the story of the film. You can’t have more than an hour of actors in…
Jesus Christ you wouldn’t have a movie if characters did the right thing all the time. Actually, you wouldn’t have stories. You wouldn’t have art.
Sigh. These bizarre interpretations of Covenant depress me so much.
No
Because actors don’t want to wear that equipment during shooting. Plus, you have trouble showing actors reactions and it usually interferes with their performance.
It’s a thousand times more depressing than the Blue Fairy because it implicitly acknowledges the horror of all fantasy. David gets “his wish,” but it is essentially a giant lie. His mother didn’t love him, this last day with her is essentially the life he always wanted that he won’t receive, and now he’s going to…
Shh, don’t remind them of this.
The “second ending” is even more depressing than the “first.” It’s implied he spends one last day with a clone of his mother before he dies, basically the mother is a giant fucking lie, and David likely dies at the end.
Someone needs to send Dorit to a kill shelter and spare the poor public the sound of her voice and whatever that thing is she calls a husband.
I don’t even think Lisa wants to fight about it. That’s probably why she abandons them halfway through the season.
