In my neck of the woods, there was a similar offer yesterday and today - only even sweeter: get 100 credits for 69 - or 31% off. The offer was limited to two cards per person, but the minimum-wage clerks could not, understandably, have been less bothered, and no checks were done.

Well, you could argue that the last $3 materialize out of nothing.

"Your priorities, Apple, seem misplaced."

"The Doxie Go's 512MB of on-board memory doesn't sound like much in an era of terabyte hard drives, but it's enough to store roughly 600 pages or 2400 photos at 300DPI"

Like everybody else, I'm snorting my drink on my keyboard. I do not thank you :)

Um... pay me no mind. Who'd have thought I could find one in an online shop in my little God-forsaken country when it's not available on any Amazon? I wouldn't have, and yet... :)

I'm curious - where did you get ours? I can't find it anywhere (I'd trust :)) so I'd love to know!

A question for Sparrow users: I'm a bit confused so as to what the "better search" function does - as far as I could ascertain, it searches only sender, recipient, and subject (cf. TUAW writing "Like any good email client, Sparrow has a search function that lets you search up to 1000 messages on your phone. You can

You're probably right, and I'm probably right too - I think I was misled by one possible interpretation of "camera equipment"; I read "camera" and not "equipment" :)

"You don't need the most cutting-edge camera equipment to take beautiful photos"

Clearer, and I can make it work, too :) Thanks.

This, and furiously trying to backpedal too :)

I don't have a sample of 8-year-olds to test this on, but I am afraid these wouldn't prevent chips from disappearing. I expect them to quickly learn to unclip instead of unroll. But then again, I don't write for New Scientist so maybe my hunch is wrong.

"A rancher, mechanic, or similar laborer could get a lifetime of use from pants like these.(...) There is something great about owning a product that says "union made" on the tag.

Truth in advertising taken a step too far, then? :)

Yup. In the interval, I did what I should have done and asked Google, and it turns out there haven't been that many, and a few people make the custom change but only on account of disabilities. I'm pretty sure I would be dangerously confused if I was given such a reverse-throttle thing to drive :)

Ha - I hadn't noticed that! :)

Oh, personally I only was looking at his hair (said he, lying through his keyboard.)

I've been forgetting to charge my tail light for two days straight. If anything, this post made me go and charge it - thanks! :)
