Colours not to my taste but in this market it is NP. a Manual would be another $10k.

The first gen XK8 was also built on an XJS platform.

Had a non turbo one as a rental car about a month or so back. Really liked it and it was plenty quick enough for a small hatch. Would be curious to see if the turbo actually adds any enjoyment factor behind the wheel or it just gives a little extra pep away from the lights?

The mastermind of the theft is still at large?

Porsche 944, they’re getting old now (plus not at all fast by modern standards) and the very best ones are over budget, but they are great fun car to drive.

I wonder if it is because Jeep have always kept that core model in the Wrangler, which is I guess as important to the brand as the 911 is to Porsche even if other models in the range sell better. Cadillac have never kept that core model which the brand can be identified by. Jaguar for that matter has a similar issue.

I suspect we will see this gearbox in a Z4 or perhaps the 2 series coupe soon? Even if Toyota lead the manual project BMW would have had an input in it, and I’m sure Toyota will be happyto offset the development costs if a few BMW ‘s are sold with it as well.

It’s Red Bull maybe they assumed the authorities would change the rules at the last minute in the interest of the spectacle and the TV audience (F1 reference).

Probably worth noting that some cars in the US already have particulate filters simply because it is cheaper for the manufacturers to fit them to their cars sold globally than mess up the supply chain with separate specs for different markets. Pretty sure all new Ferraris have the fitted and most Porsches in the US

While he might not be wrong in this case I would take any quote from Karl Verdi (not his real name) with a very large pinch of salt. A google search of Karl Verdi Ferrari problems will tell you more.

Clio Williams, Clio V6 phase II (the phase 1 looked great but had questionable handling , Megane R26R. None came to America but all were brilliant cars.

ND for that money I would rather have a Jaguar XE. The XE S has similar power and much better badge cache. Yes it would probably fail to proceed more often, but IMO it looks better while sitting on the side of the road waiting for the tow truck.

No it’s just a weird spacing of the pedals, as I said weird on first acquaintance but I’m sure something you would get used to quickly.

Other than the odd position of the clutch pedal they are great, and feels much more a sports GT than the more cruiser like autos. A well sorted Euro manual 928 will run rings around any 911 of the same era IMO.

Being from the UK I’ve driven far more manual cars than I have automatics over the years but a rented Mercedes C class in France stuck out as having a particularly poor manual box (Mercedes were never known for decent manual transmissions). It was very vague and did not have a nice shift action. Also worth mentioning,

Maybe this is more bad spec than bad car overall, but the R50 Mini Cooper (non s which has a proper auto box option) with the CVT automatic was awful. With a manual it was fine but the CVT sucked all the performance and appeal out of what was otherwise a good car (until the warranty ran out).

Lewis Hamilton pretty much followed the corporate party line until he got the first championship out of the way ( and even more so when he moved to Mercedes and away from the influence of Ron Dennis). Even Kimi was widely regarding as being a bit boring until the world worked out he just didn’t give a sh*t about

If you discount deaths in flight due to health reasons, I would imagine it is a pretty small number, and of those it’s probably mostly caused by severe in flight turbulence with passengers not strapped in being thrown around.

It could be partly supply chain issues, I’m sure MotoGP merchandise is not immune to the general issues facing the world at the moment, and also I bet a lot is made in China?

A quick search on Auto Tempest has every single SF90 listed with an asking price significantly above the sale price on that SF90. It is arguably a good deal in that specific market although it’s slightly vanilla spec would count against it and maybe why it ended up on BaT rather than being retailed? I’m sure if you
