So so interiors; poor quality switchgear and questionable reliability has never bothered Ferrari buyers much. Having said that I guess no one is buying DBX to leave it in the garage on a trickle charger 28 out of 31 days a month either.

Not with that engine. My Step father had a two door 316i new back then, It was painfully slow.
Hmm in my area the challenge is to be the only car in the Sainsbury’s car park that doesn’t come from the Volkswagen group. Succeeded this time.
There are lots of teams that can to F1 with big ambitions but achieved nothing but particular mention must go to Toyota’s F1 effort. Big budget and star drivers but achieved very little
I own (well lease) an XE albeit the 2.0 diesel one we have here in the UK. The ride and steering are better than any of the equivalent BMW/ Audi/ Lexus that I cross shopped it against. While they are still offering them new here in the UK the performance engine option has been dropped which is a shame.
It’s probably an engine very near the end of its military operational life. Bloodhound’s jet engine is from a Eurofighter typhoon and when they got it, it only had around 5/10 hours left on it but that is more than enough for all the testing and record runs.
It maybe to do with the fact the doors open upwards rather than outwards. In the event of an accident and the car ends up on its roof the doors would not open easily with the normal operation, The gullwing Mercedes SLS also had a specific arrangement to open the doors in the event of it ending up on its roof.
To turn this argument around does this mean the first generation Mustang was actually three (or even) four separate generations. With all the changes how much is interchangeable between a 64 and a 73?
Battering ram bumpers and auto transmission make this a no dice. I think this has been priced compared with asking prices back in Europe but these seem highly optimistic too.
Shelby knew what would happen as it had already been done. Sydney Allard was making the Allard J2 in the UK with American V8's as far back as 1949. One of them even came third at Le Mans in 1950.
Looking forward to the you tube film, I brought a ditched salt water damaged TBF Avenger - will it run and fly?
Closing in on 50 myself, and whilst I have no desire to buy a Harley or any other motorbike for that matter, the possibly move to working from home on a more permanent basis is making me rethink my daily driver needs. I don’t need to throw monthly lease payments at a comfortable practical car for the commute anymore,…
I was a big fan of CART in the 90's and early 2000's before it all went to hell but haven’t really been into it in the last few years. Yesterday as my one day pass for Sky (I’m in the UK) to watch F1 also included the Indycar I thought I would get my full money’s worth and watch both. The Indycar was hugely…
The Testarossa is certainly the car that defines the 80's boom period from 84-87. Not so sure about the earely 80's when the world was in recession and cars were strangled by emission requirements.
The actual church in Sainte Mere Eglise still have a representation of that event.
While that is a good sounding reason, I wonder if the fact they had a crash testing it at Vallelunga (lots of pics on their instagram) had anything to do with it as well?
The ad is very light on detail and the lack of interior or mechanicals pics is a bit concerning. Still a version with thin chrome bumpers, rather than the battering rams on the later cars, is a lovely looking thing. Going to give is a marginal NP but only if you’re local enough to go and inspect.
Porsche currently campaigns a mid-engine 911 RSR homologated on the 991-generation chassis which has since been discontinued, while Ferrari is running a 488 GTE which exited production in 2019
I suspect this is the deal? The Towers never got built https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1030163_first-of-seven-schumacher-skyscrapers-confirmed-for-abu-dhabi
Side rumour Schumacher largely signed for Mercedes for the money. Apparently he had taken quite a financial hit on Dubai property investments in the financial crash. While he was a long way from being bankrupt, the money from the Merc F1 deal eased some cash flow issues.
