Of all the European brands in the new Stellantis empire I would think Alfa Romeo and Maserati are probably the safest from the chop. Maserati is the only ‘premium’ brand in the portfolio and Alfa while it blurs the line as a premium/ mainstream brand is certainly the only other truly sporting brand. Citroen probably

My Grandfather had the equivalent Cortina when new which gives me a certain nostaglic fondness for the shape. The vendor looks like he has priced this in comparision to the asking prices in Europe. which can go for pretty good money for the highest spec examples. I’m going to give it a NP but more for sentimental than

Maybe they don’t have Netflix in the White House.

NP for me you could run it for a year and sell it for what you paid for it.

I forgot when looking at this that this US versions are around 80bhp down on the Euro versions of the E36 so I guess the supercharged redresses that.

My Wife has one of the last petrol Smart Forfours. We did test drive the electric version and it is actually the much better car to drive but at the time the lease rates on the EV version were not as competitive.

When I read the title I was expecting one converted using the parts from a RHD Chyrsler Voyager (they were sold in the UK in that generation and our former Prime Minister Tony Blair famously owned one and got some stick in the press for promoting green policies while driving the quite high CO2 emitting six cylinder

The buyer has not made the design exclusive though, so in theory you can order one from Singer if you want one. I suspect that reduced the cost slightly as the tooling costs can be split over more cars. Be surprised if they make more than ten though.

The 400 on carbs with a manual is quite a rare thing as there are far more with injection (which were also less powerful). The asking price is not unreasonable for a drivable manual 400 but I am worried about the poor presentation. Also It would be worth looking at the car on level ground to make sure the downward

Don’t care for the wrap but presumably a good detailler (sure the dealer could get it done if it closed the deal) could remove it with a heat gun. It would be useful to know what the paintwork was like underneath, but otherwise this seems priced sensibly compared to other MP4-12C’s on the market so NP.

These are cool cars but the non turbo four cylinder is the least desirable version. The later 5 cylinder Turbo versions are the most desirable (albeit more maintenace heavy with a tricky cambelt change process). ND

Cool car, but a bit to tired for the asking price. ND

It’s a great car but you can make a clear argument that either of the Ferrari F2002 or F2004 were better. In 2002 the F2002 made 15 starts (Ferrari started the 17 race season with the F2001). It won 14 of those starts with 9 of those being 1-2 finishes for Michael and Reubens. Michael also finished second in the one

The last Italian specific car show I went to was full of modified Alfa Giulietta’s and Abarths (that use the same basic engine) usually accompanied by large vape clouds so there must be reasonable modding support for these. I’m sure this will appeal to someone much younger than me. NP

The ‘classic car’ market is seldom rational, and the high prices sometimes seen on BaT are just another symptom of that. It can also be argued that the internet car media in part causes this with its need for content. 20 years ago when a car sold for big money it would have caught the attention of a small number of

Same car on Hemmings for a lot more money. I like the SEC but would rather spend more on a better one than try and sort this one out. ND

It’s priced in line with the mid price for these in the U.K. where there have a good following. Key question which the advert does not address is the condition of the chassis which is notoriously rust prone. Replacement chassis are made for these though but it’s a big job (Wheeler Dealers did an episode on one with a

I like it although it has the same issue as the previous gen in looking a bit awkward in the front 3/4 view. Rear end is much nicer although for some reason the new taillights and curved spoiler reminds me a bit of the previous generation Buick Regal/Opel Insignia

Adding a turbo would put it too close to the 2.0 litre Supra in power and performance, which I suspect Toyota don’t want. Even though Subaru does not have the same issue maybe there is a clause in the JV agreement that means Subaru cannot do a more powerful version than Toyota offer.

Hamilton is undoubtably the best of this hybrid era and in the top five of all time, but the greatest of all has too many variables to make a definitive call. His stats are flattered somewhat by the incredible reliability that F1 has these days compared with even the Schumacher era.
