IIRC correctly they came to Ferrari as a sponsor due to Ferrari signing Alonso. Once Alonso left they finished the contract and did not renew it.

The lead BMW and Honda teams are factory supported running their own engines built to the spec. I think most of the entries from other manufacturers use the spec engine supplied by the series. While the series is past it’s heyday it is still easily the biggest national race series in the UK and probably a lot cheaper

XE should be eligible for BTCC and considering the 3 Series dominates it at the moment having another RWD car in the series and from a British based manufacturer would probably be a crowd pleaser.

Skoda’s were the butt of jokes about terrible cars in the 80's like all the other cheap cars from behind the iron curtain (although actually Skoda’s were by far the best of them, and surprisingly capable rally cars). Since the brand was brought by VW they have become their more budget brand sitting below VW itself in

Neutral: In FCA’s case which country would nationalise it though? It might appear to be a US/Italian company, but the company is legally registered in the Netherlands.

Interior needs a freshen up but I don’t hate on the colour scheme. On these early SLK’s (and indeed any Mercedes from that period) I would be more concerned with rust. NP enough to inspect.

Fun fact the Renault Espace was not originally a Renault. It was originally developed by Chrysler UK in conjunction with Matra, and would have been sold as a Simca (Chrysler’s French brand at the time). When Chrysler sold their French and UK interests new owners Peugeot passed on the car, and Matra who effectively

Great film, although as I have been playing too much Forza Horizon during lockdown I kept wondering where the red braking arrow was and why he didn’t just hit rewind when he spun?

Now playing

The Al Buncombe film from the race the next day is also worth checking out. He set fastest lap in the race.

Would the SS 1LE package would be the best option for this upgrade?

He’s 32 which is still gives him maybe 6 years in F1 if he wants, Kimi has gone on longer hut in his own words it’s a hobby for him. If I were Vettel I would look at Racing Point/ Aston Martin/ whatever they are called this week. With the money going into them from Stroll and Toto Wolff they should be a team on the up

They got as far as building an Indycar in the 80's

Market Capitalization is a better measure of the valuation of a company than the share price on it’s own which is also impacted by the number of shares in circulation. Tesla currently has a market cap of $150bn and Ford $20bn, so 7.5 times bigger rather than the 162 times indicated by the share price. For reference

Tough one as really good ones of these are making big money on both sides of the Atlantic. This one has done a lot of miles, but if it turns out to have been well looked after it is probably the sort of car you could buy and run for a year and sell for what you paid for it. Cautious NP

IMO the difference in resale is less about controlling production (Ferrari still comfortably outsells Mclaren) and probably more to do with Ferrari have surprisingly good warranties on their cars. A 4 year warranty extendable to up to twelve years on the powertrain plus 7 years free servicing on a new Ferrari gives

Difficult one as no Europa is a rationale purchase so NP:CP can only really be determined relative to other Europas available. A quick scan of BaT which has had a few go through in the last six months puts this above average for selling prices on there, but also prices were ticking up (at least before COVID).

The fact it is more appealing than the upcoming, more expensive and presumably higher margin 4 Series can’t be good news for BMW.

Its the same in the UK, the Government had the army convert the Excel exhibition centre into an emergency hospital with 4000 beds for specialist COVID care and it currently has 182 patients which is actually great news in the grand scheme of things (although not for the 182 obviously).

It’s not worth the asking price but I voted NP just to see a nice relatively stock one that has not been drift modified. Hopefully the drift crowd with think it is too expensive as well.
