Life experience means something. So no, we aren’t on the same level. But maybe that’s just me. I don’t have the arrogance that tells me I’m equal in that sense to older women. Also though, I have some amazing older women in my family to learn from.

This attitude comes from the fact that millennials basically act like they take for granted the rights they have that the women before them fought hard for. Maybe try having some gratitude and compassion. Your comment came off like "i don't think older women are worthless but here's all the reasons they are"...

And it was just as much perpetrated by millennial women as older women. I met far more “cool girl” Bernie bros who hated Hilary than I did older women who didn't like her.

Yeah, seems like this phenomenon is only in NYC. So weird. But the Ys definitely seem to vary based on geography. 

But the difference is in what you need from your facility. Ys have pools, classes and childcare. Not all of course but plenty. 24 hour fitness is pretty much just the work out equipment right?
